The goals of the RYNJ PTA are to foster a partnership between the parent body, teachers and administration, encourage interactions among parents, enhance the students' educational experience, cultivate school spirit and show Hakarat HaTov to our fabulous administration and faculty.

The PTA runs programs throughout the year for students, parents and teachers. The PTA is involved from the first to the last day of school. PTA volunteers are there to assist your children on the first day of school and provide a luncheon of appreciation for the teachers on the last day of school. Parent volunteers are crucial to our success, so please get involved and help build a stronger school for our children while enriching your own RYNJ experience.

Below is a brief overview of the programs that are funded and organized by the PTA throughout the year:

School Community:

• School Calendar
• Car magnets
• Family Handbook Directory
• School Cookbook "Signature Salads" back by popular demand!
• Mazel Tov/ Condolence cards sent from the PTA to RYNJ families.

Cultural Arts Programs:

• Specially designed art education classes with hands-on projects are presented to designated classes.

RYNJ Family Events:

• New Parents' Evening: All of the new parents in the school have the opportunity to get together at an informal dessert, where they can meet fellow parents, administration and board members.
• ParentLinks: Parents in various grades meet for an informal evening together with our administrators at the home of one of their fellow classmates. This provides an opportunity where the parents of that grade can spend time with one another and with the administrators outside the school setting.
• Chanukah Concert: An exciting time for all the families of RYNJ to enjoy together at our annual Chanukah concert.
• Grandmother-Mother-Daughter Brunch: This event includes a large boutique, raffles, brunch and program. A wonderful chance for grandmothers, mothers and daughters to have their own special time together and enjoy in each other's nachas.
• Father-Son Event - Fathers and sons enjoy time out together with exciting programming each year!

In-School Programming:

• Preschool enrichment programs
• Chanukah entertainment
• Tu B'Shevat fruit platters
• Yom Ha'atzmaut festivities
• Refreshments and snacks at student performances
• School pictures
• Shiurim: Connecting with our Community: Area Rebbetzins have come given shiurim to our junior high girls and all mothers who wish to attend. This provides an opportunity for both the mothers and girls to establish a relationship with the Rebbetzins in our communities.

Fundraising:

• Box Tops for Education Clip and send your Box Tops today!! It?s an easy way to earn money for your school. It?s amazing how it all adds up. All money received goes to student activities.
• Kidstuff Coupon Books: Save, Save, Save!!!! Purchase your Kidstuff coupon books today and begin to save with hundreds of great coupons?Pathmark, Shoprite, Lord & Taylor, Sesame Place and so much more!! With the use of three or four coupons, you will have made back the money spent on the book. The cost of the book is $25 and the school receives $12.50 for every book purchased.
• Chanukah oil sale: Buy your Chanukah oil through the school and the money goes to your children?s cultural arts programming.
• Camp sale: Sending your kids to camp can be overwhelming but not when you come to the amazing RYNJ camp sale. You can buy everything you need and more, all at one convenient place!

• Teacher Orientation Breakfast/ Lunch
• Teacher In-Service Day refreshments
• Chanukah gifts
• Mishloach Manot
• Flowers for Shavuot
• End of the Year Luncheon
